O’Connor: It’s no fluke BOD good every time he plays

He is 34 now and has racked up countless injuries and abrasions in over 300 first-class games for Leinster, Ireland and the Lions, but Brian O’Driscoll is more than able for the considerable workload to come for club and country this next two months.

So believes Leinster coach Matt O’Connor.

The outside centre made the first appearance of what is due to be his last season, against Cardiff Blues, last weekend and will be required for Saturday’s visit to Thomond Park and the two Heineken Cup fixtures to follow.
