O’Connor predicts bright future for out-half Madigan

Leinster coach Matt O’Connor is convinced the best has yet to come from Ian Madigan as the out-half yesterday signed a contract extension until 2016.

Madigan impressed in the second half of last season filling in for Jonny Sexton after the Racing Metro-bound 10 picked up a leg injury. The 24-year-old also won four international caps and featured 32 times for the province.

“We are confident his best years are ahead of him and he can achieve even greater things in years to come,” said O’Connor.
