Owens responds to criticism

Referee Nigel Owens took to twitter to defend his handling of Saturday’s Heineken Cup semi-final between Clermont and Munster.

Munster fans were critical of the Welsh official’s performance, especially his controversial late decision to punish Paul O’Connell for a forward pass as Rob Penney’s side went in search of a converted try.

But Owens yesterday hit back, here’s a selection of his responses.
