O’Connor seeks parting shot with Connacht

Connacht flanker Johnny O’Connor is hopeful he will recover from a troublesome ankle injury to play at least one more time for his native province.

O’Connor has definitely been ruled out of this weekend’s RaboDirect PRO12 clash in Treviso and with just three games left after that, time is running out for the 33-year old.

The former Irish international announced this week that he will retire when his contract runs out at the end of the season, but he is just hoping to don the Connacht shirt at least one more time.
