Aussie Sheens on Thomond fact-finding mission

Australian rugby league legend and current head coach Tim Sheens was on a fact-finding mission to Thomond Park yesterday ahead of their World Cup meeting with Ireland in November looking to unlock the secrets of the stadium’s notoriety to cause an upset.

Sheens travelled to Ireland with his management team to identify any potential logistical issues they could face ahead of their November 9 Group A clash to ensure there will be no surprises.

“I was involved with the Russian team a few years ago in an advisory capacity and the Irish team came to Moscow and beat them two World Cup campaigns ago,” said Sheens.
