O’Gara back in his happy place

Under-fire fly-half Ronan O’Gara will have the long arm of his province wrapped around him this weekend when he rejoins Munster’s bid for RaboDirect Pro12 qualification against Ospreys.

O’Gara back in his happy place

O’Gara and loosehead prop David Kilcoyne have been released by Ireland head coach Declan Kidney for Saturday night’s Thomond Park clash with the league champions after serving bench duty in the Six Nations defeat to Scotland at Murrayfield last Sunday.

Those Munster players who started the 12-8 loss in Edinburgh — Donnacha Ryan, Donncha O’Callaghan, Peter O’Mahony, Conor Murray and Keith Earls — will participate in a two-day Ireland training camp which begins today at Carton House before Kidney names a full squad for the championship meeting with France on March 9.
