Having beaten the Leinster club, long time leaders, in Dublin some weeks ago, Constitution will feel home advantage might see them through and provide a glimmer of hope to other contenders in the battle for the title.

Or will it? Con went into last week’s fixture against reigning champions St Mary’s College having won the first round fixture at Templeville Road. They lost the return and lost it badly, so there are questions to be answered today and Lansdowne could take a giant step towards closing the deal.
