Muller extends stay in Ulster

Ulster skipper Johann Muller will extend his stay at Ravenhill for another season after lengthy negotiations and he will be making his long-awaited comeback from injury this Friday when the RaboDirect Pro12 table-toppers take on the Ospreys at Ravenhill.

Muller extends stay in Ulster

Originally, Muller had intended to finish his career with Ulster at the end of the current season and head back home to Mussel Bay on the eastern Cape to help his father and brother run the family farm. However, after taking over some of the coaching duties, and playing in a successful outfit, Muller was keen to stay until the end of the 2014 season to see through some of the work that his brand of leadership has produced.

The 32-year-old World Cup winner has had an unfortunate run of injuries this season, the most recent a broken radius eight weeks ago.
