Thorn set for action

All Black World Cup winner Brad Thorn will make his first appearance in Leinster colours in today’s ‘A’ interprovincial clash with Connacht at Old Belvedere (3pm).

Thorn will lock down alongside Mark Flanagan, while another New Zealander, Mat Berquist is named at out-half alongside John Cooney. The side is captained by Jack McGrath and also includes Rhys Ruddock, Dominic Ryan and Leo Auva’a.
