Muller: We failed to deliver in France

ULSTER skipper Johann Muller has taken full responsibility for Ulster not securing a home Heineken Cup quarter-final following their narrow defeat away to Clermont Auvergne.

Muller pointed to the last frenetic stages of the game when Ulster panicked, 19-15 in arrears, and allowed chances to slip by.

Now Ulster must go to Thomond Park to take on a Munster side striking a rich vein of form following their demolition of last year’s finalists, Northampton.
