Jennings boost for Kidney

SHANE JENNINGS is on track to feature in Ireland’s first World Cup warm-up game against Scotland in early August despite breaking his arm against Munster late last month.

Jennings boost for Kidney

The openside flanker did the damage during Leinster’s Magners League Grand Final defeat at Thomond Park but a visit to his surgeon yesterday confirmed the operation to remedy the break went well.

The protective cast on his right arm is due to come off in three weeks, just four days after Declan Kidney assembles his players for the first day of camp prior to the World Cup.
