Glasgow might have had the same intent to attack but they couldn’t back it up with either quality or possession as Leinster pulled away with some brilliant play.

Coach Joe Schmidt admitted it took time for his side to find their feet but said he was delighted with the second-half performance. He knows full well that he has to find a balance in selection in the build up to the Heineken Cup final a fortnight from today but insisted that Ulster would be given the respect they deserve next week.
