South Africans and Kiwi take charge of Ireland Pool games

THE referees for Ireland’s Rugby World Cup Pool C games were announced yesterday.

South African Craig Joubert takes charge of their opener against the USA (New Plymouth, Sept 11) along with the clash against Russia (Rotorua, Sept 25). Bryce Lawrence (New Zealand) is in charge for the meeting with Australia (Auckland, Sept 17) while Jonathan Kaplan (South Africa) officiates in the final Pool C game against Italy (Dunedin, Oct 2).

Irish referee George Clancy takes charge of the opener featuring New Zealand and Tonga while Alain Rolland takes charge of the glamour clash between the All Blacks and France.
