Clontarf in the pink for charity

CLONTARF’S rugby and hockey clubs will be doing their bit for a worthy charity this weekend by wearing a pink jersey to raise funds for Breast Cancer Ireland.

“We’re delighted to be involved and because it’s the club’s last game at home we’re hoping for a big crowd to make a few bob,” said Clontarf RFC coach and former international Bernard Jackman.

The jersey will be on sale in the club shop and worn by the seniors in their AIL fixture against UL Bohs.

“If we can get a win we will finish top and get into the playoffs. That was the goal at the start of the year. It’s in our hands.”
