Six Nations casts shadow over final Heineken Cup pool games

HOW strange.

The last round of pool fixtures in the Heineken Cup is normally the cue for one of the most anticipated weekends on the rugby calendar and yet thoughts were already turning to February and the Six Nations at the RDS yesterday.

Granted, it was members of the media who were engaging in such idle long-term thinking less than a week before round six of Europe’s premier club competition but that in itself tells a story.
