MUNSTER head coach Tony McGahan was left to rue too many penalties and too little composure from his players after his side was dumped out of the Heineken Cup last night.

Beaten thoroughly by Toulon, who sealed qualification for the quarter-finals with their 32-16 win, Munster, who lost Donncha O’Callaghan and Ronan O’Gara to yellow cards during the game, paid the price for indiscipline and inaccuracy, McGahan said.

“Absolutely shattered to be out of the Heineken Cup at this point, especially after a very disappointing performance,” the Australian added.
