ERC to finalise Heineken Cup fixtures

RUGBY fans eager to finalise travel arrangements for rounds five and six of the Heineken Cup next month should be put out of their misery later today.

With two games postponed at the weekend due to the adverse weather conditions and resulting travel problems, tournament organisers ERC have delayed naming game days and kick-off times for the final two rounds of group qualifying on the weekends of January 15 and 22.

Both Leinster and Munster face trips to France in the New Year. Munster go to current Pool 3 leaders Toulon on the first weekend while round six takes Leinster to Pool 2 rivals Racing Metro and Ulster travel to Italy’s Aironi, in Pool 4. Games can be played on the Friday, Saturday or Sunday of each weekend.
