O’Connell in line to make Munster return

THE likelihood of Paul O’Connell returning to the fray for Munster should help spark interest in what was already set to be an intriguing Magners League clash with Cardiff Blues at Thomond Park on Saturday (7.30pm).

As Munster rugby reports 18,000 sales for the match against the Welsh club, O’Connell’s participation for Young Munster in an AIL fixture last weekend helped boost the coffers of arch-rival Limerick club Shannon for their home fixture last week. He could do the same for Munster.
