White to take charge of Magners final

MAGNERS LEAGUE: English referee Chris White will take charge of the Magners League Grand Final between Leinster and Ospreys on Saturday week (6.30pm).

This will be White’s eighth Magners League game; his previous Celtic record includes the 2003 final at Millennium Stadium when Munster beat Neath.

The Guinness Premiership’s most experienced referee, White has clocked up 179 top-flight games since making his debut in England’s elite group back in October 1994. He has taken charge of two English Premiership finals and has officiated at three Heineken Cup finals, the all French games of 2003 and 2005 and Munster’s victory over Biarritz in 2006.
