Wallace wary of worthy Welsh adversary Williams

Wallace wary of worthy Welsh adversary Williams

Despite public criticism of his Welsh form this season, 34-year-old Williams has been given a huge vote of confidence from coach Warren Gatland to lead the team in the absence of the injured Ryan Jones, while 33-year-old Wallace continues to inspire the Irish management enough to consign Shane Jennings to the bench yet again.

Wallace wasn’t surprised at Gatland’s choice of captain, nor at the fact that Williams continues to reign supreme amongst the open-side contenders in the principality.
