Scrum nut Healy keen to push on

CIAN HEALY may have come to international attention with a bullocking debut run against Australia in last year’s autumn internationals, but when you sit down and talk to him, he’s happy to discuss scrummaging, as befits a loose-head prop.

He’s looking forward to the visit of Italy to Croke Park tomorrow: “Any of the Six Nations teams are huge, and being part of the competition is a dream come true. Obviously representing Ireland at any level is a huge honour, and it’s great to get the opportunity.

“The autumn internationals went by in a bit of a haze – I really enjoyed the moment but when it came to the games themselves I had to go back to the video, they went by so fast.”
