Kidney led Ireland to Six Nations glory during an unbeaten 2009, landing himself the IRB’s Coach of the Year award into the bargain, yet he is the first to admit those achievements count for nothing this time around.

Indeed, he is well aware that Ireland are now the prized scalp for the other five teams in the 2010 RBS Six Nations, and with the opener against Italy just nine days away he admits his team may not be as good as their write-ups suggest.
