Bring on the Boks, declares O’Driscoll

BRIAN O’DRISCOLL is eagerly anticipating the prospect of facing South Africa again later this year.

The Springboks have claimed another Tri-Nations title since taking the British and Irish Lions’ scalp by two tests to one this summer and O’Driscoll should get the chance to face the world’s top team once again when they visit Dublin in late November.

Ireland have won on the last two occasions the South Africans visited these shores. The scoreline in November 2006 was 32-15 while Eddie O’Sullivan’s side won by five points (17-12) 24 months earlier.
