Good day at the office for workmanlike Munster

THERE were times yesterday when Munster were close to their awesome best but in the end workmanlike was the best word to describe their performance in beating Montauban at the Stade de Sapiac.

Having comfortably led the way home in Pool One of the Heineken Cup, they now look forward to a quarter-final against the Neath Swansea Ospreys at Thomond Park on April 9/10/11.

A home draw, is great news for the travelling Red Army who had to dig even deeper than usual after staying an extra day in the south of France when the game was postponed for 24 hours because of a massive storm here, Saturday.
