Williams set for debut with Munster A

MUNSTER’S Kiwi signing Nick Williams (pictured) will make his debut for the province at A level against Leinster at Donnybrook on Wednesday (2.30).

Williams has been in Ireland for a number of weeks, and was given time by provincial coach Tony McGahan to make a full recovery from a shoulder injury that required an operation some months ago. The 23-year-old yesterday confirmed that he would be playing for Munster A and that he was looking forward to making his representative debut for the province.

Although the Donnybrook midweek encounter is likely to be played in front of a limited audience, Williams can’t wait to taste some serious action with Munster.
