Munster there for the taking, says Malzieu

CLERMONT Auvergne wing Julien Malzieu believes that Sunday’s visit of Heineken Cup holders Munster is a match which is the French club’s “for the taking”.

The corresponding clash last year ended in favour of the Top 14 side but the erstwhile champions were helped in no small measure by the memorable pocketing of a losing bonus point — and this weekend they return to the scene of the 26-19 defeat.

The memory of that fills the 25-year-old French international with confidence despite his praising of Munster as “one of the best teams in the world”.
