IRISH coach Declan Kidney is hopeful Paul O’Connell will be fit for Saturday’s clash with Argentina at Croke Park.

O’Connell limped off midway through the second half with a knee injury. Kidney revealed the problem was ‘soft tissue’ related. “Hopefully he will be ok,” said the coach.

Rory Best suffered a leg muscle strain but should be fit for selection.
