MALCOLM O’KELLY fans can relax. His international career is not over just because he was omitted from a recent 30-strong Irish squad and from the 22 for tomorrow’s clash with Canada at Thomond Park.

Indeed, Irish backs coach Alan Gaffney, speaking in Limerick, said the veteran second-row could well come into the reckoning for a place in the 22 to take on the All Blacks and Argentina.

“Malcolm knows where he sits in this regard and without preempting things, there’s every chance he’ll be back in next week”, said Gaffney.
