Kenny stars for Colleges

DAN KENNY was deservedly awarded the man of the match for his outstanding display in an entertaining game played at the University of Ulster Jordonstown last night.

The Scottish side opened the scoring with a penalty in the 18th minute, but that was soon cancelled by the first of three tries by Dan Kenny in the 22 minute. That was followed by a try in the 39th minute by Brendan O Brien to leave the half time score 12 points to 3.

The well organised colleges side had their first try of the second half in the 12th minute, again from Dan Kenny and then came an avalanche of tries from Mick O’Shea, Ben Reilly, Jim Taggart and Dan Kenny.
