O’Connell could be back in January

MUNSTER bosses hope Paul O’Connell, who hasn’t played since the World Cup because of a disc problem in his back, will do some light jogging this week.

Providing there is no adverse reaction, the injured skipper could return to action in a month.

However Tomas O’Leary is still recovering from a severe dose of pneumonia and will also be out of action until the New Year.
