IRELAND look certain to play as selected in tomorrow’s World Cup warm-up clash with Scotland at Murrayfield, despite a couple of slight injuries sustained in training yesterday.

Out-half Paddy Wallace and prop Simon Best had participation in a squad training session cut short and were respectively replaced by Ronan O’Gara and John Hayes.

But, as assistant coach Niall O’Donovan suggested that Tommy Bowe would be fit to take his place on the wing, it was intimated that neither Wallace nor Best were in any serious danger of losing out.
