O’Sullivan hits out at Contepomi

EDDIE O’Sullivan has hit out at accusations by Felipe Contepomi that Ireland set out to deliberately unsettle the Argentineans during last Saturday’s test match — and told the Puma No 10: “I’m disappointed in you.”

O’Sullivan hits out at Contepomi

Contepomi, back in Ireland for his graduation, complained about Ireland taking cheap shots, playing after the whistle and trying to unsettle his team.

O’Sullivan said: “I’m disappointed to hear Felipe saying that because he knows all our players personally.

“That accusation was obviously made in Spanish and not translated into English and I think it was a bit disingenuous. It’s the first I heard of it.

“Nobody made the accusation to us."
