Jenkins: Streetwise Ireland have another gear

WALES coach Gareth Jenkins saw his side’s defeat at the Millennium Stadium as an opportunity lost and believes Ireland will get better as the season progresses.

“There’s no doubt Ireland have another gear. They’re a good team and that’s why they’re the pre-tournament favourites. What they showed today without giving a big performance was resolve and endeavour. They are very streetwise, we have to admit that.

“They got three tries out of the game and you have to ask yourself where did those come from? How did they get three tries? But they did.
