Howard: I’d love Eddie to look across the water

LEICESTER Tigers coach Pat Howard has urged Irish counterpart Eddie O’Sullivan to visit Welford Road and see more of his Irish qualified players.

Howard, noting that Harry Ellis should be England’s scrum half, said he was disappointed that some of the Irish contingent hadn’t been given the credit they deserve.

“Don’t get me wrong, I’m not telling any other coaches what to do but I would love Eddie to have more of a look across the water, particularly at Welford Road,” he said.
