Munster try hero Wallace happy to have tamed Tigers

DAVID WALLACE isn’t basking in the glory of scoring a crucial try in Munster’s Heineken Cup victory over Leicester Tigers.

He’s just relieved that he managed to touch the ball down and not to have had suffer grief from his colleagues — if the try had not been allowed.

“It was a great pass from Rog (Ronan O’Gara) to John (Kelly), and the move was brought through by Trevor (Halstead). I arrived on the scene early and I just decided I’d better give it a go and go for broke.
