O’Gara, O’Connell fighting fit

PAUL O’CONNELL and Ronan O’Gara have been passed fit for Munster’s Heineken Cup opener against Leicester Tigers at Welford Road on Sunday.

O’Connell failed to start Friday night’s Magner’s League game against Edinburgh because of a hip injury sustained earlier that day, while O’Gara was forced off after ten minutes nursing a shoulder injury.

O’Connell sat out yesterday’s training session as a precaution while O’Gara played a full part in team preparations at Thomond Park for the Pool Four clash.
