Ní Chaidháin comes in for Milne

THERE is only one change to the Irish women’s team for Twickenham from their last outing against Wales.

Nuala Ní Chaidháin comes in on the wing for Nicki Milne, who reverts to the bench. Rosie Foley retains her second row position ahead of Jen Leacy, while Fiona Steed is selected for her 60th consecutive senior cap.

Full-back Sarah-Jane Belton has played against England many times and remembers the potency of the talented England backs, who are the most feared in the women’s Six Nations. “Because they are England we are going to have to be strong everywhere, but as a back-line we will definitely have to try and co-ordinate our defence very well.

“Our pack had a very good game against Wales and if we can scrum well against England, then we’ll hopefully, have a solid platform to work off”

The game is only the second women’s international to be played at Twickenham with England beating France there two seasons ago.
