Golden Point rule for Celtic League

THE Celtic League is set to introduce a golden point rule to decide any tied matches during the knock-out stages of the tournament.

Similar to football’s golden goal, the first team to score a golden point during extra time will be determined the winner.

It will operate with immediate effect and will initially be used to settle any tied quarter-final at the end of the month.
