Munster went through their worst European experience then even though they finished one game apiece against the French side with a home win and an away defeat.

Munster coach Alan Gaffney has left no stone unturned in his bid to improve on that particular record and last weekend spent two days in Bourgoin on a spying mission. Bourgoin beat Colomiers at home and while the visiting side were reduced to 13 men for five minutes, Gaffney believes they will pose problems when they meet on either December 5, 6 or 7.
