Green, Heaslip and Jowitt set for Leinster return

WILL GREEN, Jamie Heaslip and Cameron Jowitt should be back to boost Leinster’s prospects of making the Heineken Cup quarter-finals when they meet Bath at the Recreation Ground on Sunday.

Green, Heaslip and Jowitt set for Leinster return

All three have been named in a squad of 24 for a crucial encounter Leinster must win to have any chance of survival. It is, according to coach Michael Cheika, a cup final.

Jowitt strained a leg muscle in last week’s 46-22 victory over Glasgow, Green missed that game with a shoulder strain and Heaslip had the flu. Their presence in the squad suggests they will both be included if they prove their fitness. Having lost to Bath in Dublin on the opening day of the Heineken Cup, Leinster enter this pressure game on the back of a fine recent run (the defeat to Llanelli excluded), and Cheika believes his side are now better positioned than ever to beat the English Premiership side, even away from home.
