O’Sullivan returns for Connacht

JOHN O’SULLIVAN returns to Connacht’s starting line-up for Saturday’s crucial Celtic League meeting with Cardiff at the Galway Sportsgrounds (2pm).

The No 8, who has been out action with a neck injury, came on as a second-half replacement in last week’s victory over Grenoble in the European Challenge Cup and he is one of three changes to Connacht.

Bradley has kept the same backline after the departure of Eric Elwood through injury. Paul Warwick continues at out-half alongside Chris Keane, while Conor McPhillips and Ted Robinson switch wings. Prop Steven Knoop returns for Peter Bracken as John Muldoon moves to blindside.

CONNACHT (v Cardiff): M Mostyn, C McPhillips, D Yapp, J Downey, T Robinson, P Warwick, C Keane, R Hogan, B Jackman, S Knoop, C Short, A Farley, J Muldoon, M Lacey, J O’Sullivan.

Replacements: D McFarland, J Fogarty, P Myburgh, M Swift, T Tierney, D Slemen, M McHugh.
