Name your price, rugby bosses tells residents near Thomond Park

RUGBY bosses have reopened negotiations with residents near Thomond Park in Limerick in a bid to purchase their homes to help double the capacity of the venue to 26,000.

Householders who live alongside the world-famous ground have been told “to name your price” for their homes by the IRFU and Munster Branch. Earlier talks had broken down.

IRFU and Munster Branch representatives held emergency meetings recently in an effort to buy 16 homes at 13-28 on Knockalisheen Road.
