Namibia beat Kenya in Confederation of Africa tournament

World Cup finalists Namibia, who will face Ireland on Oct 19, easily beat Kenya 22-10 on Saturday to reach the semi-finals of the Confederation of Africa rugby tournament.

Winger Melrick Africa played the most outstanding role in the match for the visitors, scoring all the three tries.

Namibia, building towards October's World Cup in Australia, led 5-0 at half time.

It was Kenya's first defeat in four international matches, but they showed a marked improvement from the team that lost 60-9 in another continental qualifier at the same venue 10 years ago.

Namibia, who lead Pool B with 10 points, will play Uganda in the semi-finals, while Pool A leaders Morocco take on Madagascar.
