Springbok coach backs Aussie skipper Gregan

Springbok coach backs Aussie skipper Gregan

Gregan was in the firing line after the Wallabies lost their third test in a row, 30-13, against the All Blacks on Saturday.

If Australia lose to the Springboks this weekend they will equal their worst losing streak since 1981, but Coetzee believes that Gregan is still an integral part of the Wallaby side.

“When things go wrong and you’re not winning test matches, the coaches and captains come under a bit of pressure but I think George has been around long enough to be able to handle it,” he said.
