Presentation boys ‘learn a lot’ in South Africa tour

EDDIE O’SULLIVAN’S international squad aren’t the only Irish side that have been testing themselves against South African opposition.

Forty eight players from Presentation Brothers Cork which constitute the school's under 17 and 18 teams have passed through Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town and have played against some of the best sides that the South African school system has to offer.

"It's been an interesting tour from a number of different angles," said coach Damien Philpott. "In a rugby sense we've learned an awful lot. We had a couple of easy games at the start against CBC Boksburg and St Henry's but then we lost heavily to Paarl a few days ago.
