BLACKROCK College, on the trail of a 64th Leinster Schools Senior Cup title, booked their place in the semi-finals at Donnybrook yesterday.

The sides were level at the break after Killian Lett’s 33rd minute penalty was cancelled by a Conor O’Daly Blackrock kick just before the break.

King’s Hospital led in the 47th minute when Lett landed another penalty. But Blackrock stormed back. A try 10 minutes later saw prop Gary Walsh ground the ball at the posts. Luke Fitzgerald and David Nyhan added further tries to seal the victory.

Meanwhile, Belvedere College defeated St Andrew’s College 44-0 in the Leinster Schools Junior Cup.
