Gleeson returns

IRELAND flanker, Keith Gleeson, made a return to competitive rugby at the weekend, coming off the bench at half-time to help St Mary’s College condemn DLSP to their fourth Leddin Finance Leinster Senior Cup Final defeat in six years with a 26-7 win at Donnybrook.

Meanwhile, Highfield were condemned to their ninth AIB League defeat of the season going down 19-12 to Young Munster at Tom Clifford Park on Saturday.

Old Crescent beat Barnhall 29-6 at Rosbrien. In a good all-round day for Limerick clubs, UL-Bohs scored a narrow 16-13 win over Midleton at Thomond Park.
