Taione could get two-year ban for biting

EPI TAIONE of Sale Sharks has been cited by match commissioner Iain Goodall for an alleged biting incident in Saturday’s Heineken Cup game against Munster at Thomond Park.

The Tongan-born centre is charged with biting Munster forward Denis Leamy on the arm at a scrum late in the game.

Leamy immediately brought the matter to the attention of French referee Joel Jutge who took no action.
