However the Munster coach feels that communication between the provinces and the international set-up needs to improve drastically if future problems are to be ironed out.

Leinster team manager Paul McNaughton yesterday voiced his province’s criticism of the way players were being released from the pre-season programme, with Irish coach Eddie O’Sullivan then rebutting claims that the programme lacked logic.
