Adams out for season following injury

Gloucester prospect Jack Adams is unlikely to play again this season after suffering a serious knee injury.

The 19-year-old centre was hurt on Guinness A team duty against Saracens three days ago and ligament damage has now been confirmed.

Adams made two Premiership appearances earlier this month, going on as a replacement against Sale Sharks and Bristol, and he could have figured in Gloucester’s Powergen Cup opener against the Ospreys tomorrow.
