Adams out for season following injury
The 19-year-old centre was hurt on Guinness A team duty against Saracens three days ago and ligament damage has now been confirmed.
Adams made two Premiership appearances earlier this month, going on as a replacement against Sale Sharks and Bristol, and he could have figured in Gloucester’s Powergen Cup opener against the Ospreys tomorrow.
Fly-half Duncan McRae, meanwhile, will be out for six weeks while he recovers from knee surgery and Gloucester’s England Under-21 full-back Olly Morgan faces a four-week lay-off due to thigh trouble.
